| Emergency Medical Services |
EMT-Basics receive approximatly 120 hours of training and additional clinical time. Topics covered in training include: Anatomy & physiology, patient assessment, documentation, legal considerations, splinting tramatic injuries, behavioral emergencies, cardiac arrest management, and treatment of acute medical emergencies. EMT-Basics can administer medications such as: oxygen, Epi-Pens, oral glucose, aspirin, and can assist patients in taking some of their own medications.
